Center for Ground Water Management

Ground water is the most abundant of the available fresh water resources on earth, yet it is the most difficult and costly to remediate if contaminated. These facts underscore the need for the proper management of ground water resources.

The Center for Ground Water Management serves as a catalyst for partnerships of agencies, institutions and organizations from education, goverment and industry. Through the Center, the university has established a mechanism for formalizing the full spectrum of activities mentioned above in a multidisciplinary, interinstitutional protection of ground water resources.
